AJL License

About

Licensing only. Nothing else.

We do one thing: get direct selling companies licensed.

Not a general business consultancy with a licensing sideline. The AJL regime, the Direct Sales and Anti-Pyramid Scheme Act 1993, and the way KPDN actually reads an application — that is the whole remit.

AJL The only licence we work on — no general consultancy
KPDN The only regulator we deal with, under Akta 500

Why a dedicated practice

Licensing is not a footnote on a services menu

Most companies meet the AJL regime at the worst possible moment: the plan is designed, the shares are issued, the launch date is set, and only then does someone read what the Act requires. By that point the cheap fixes are gone.

Treating licensing as its own discipline changes the order. The structure, the capital and the compensation plan get decided against the licence requirements rather than around them, and the application becomes a formality instead of a negotiation.

That is the entire argument for this being a separate practice rather than one line on a longer list of services.

How we work

Four things we hold to

We will tell you if you are not ready

If the capital is not there or the plan will not survive a reading, the honest answer is to fix that first. Filing an application that is going to stall serves nobody.

The plan gets read properly

Compensation plans are reviewed the way a regulator reads them, not the way a launch audience does. That is usually where the real work sits.

One complete submission

The pack goes in whole or it does not go in. Partial submissions do not get a head start in the queue, they just accumulate queries.

We do not promise approval

Approval is the Ministry’s decision, and anyone guaranteeing it is telling you something untrue. What we control is whether the application gives them a reason to say no.

Scope

What is in, and what is not

Being clear about the boundary saves everyone a meeting.

We handle

  • Eligibility and structure review before anything is drafted
  • Compensation plan review and rework for compliance
  • Form AJL-1, company profile and the full document pack
  • Sales kit and code of ethics drafting
  • Submission through BLESS 2.0 and handling queries
  • Licence renewal

We do not

  • Issue licences — KPDN does
  • Guarantee or expedite approval
  • Act as your lawyers or your auditors
  • Register your products with other agencies

Start with a conversation, not a contract

Tell us where the company is today. If the answer is that you are not ready to file yet, we will say so and tell you what has to change.
